Tenacious, persistent yet personable, Rob Solls came to Mohr Capital with more than a decade of experience in retail and a deep understanding of tenant-retailer interactions, having formed countless professional relationships throughout his career. At Mohr Capital, he handles acquisitions, development and redevelopment, not to mention building new tenant relationships. Having the opportunity to help create and grow the retail division at Mohr Capital is what Rob says makes his position as director of retail investments and acquisitions rewarding.

Prior to joining Mohr Capital in April of 2019, Rob served as director of leasing at Leon Capital Group, a Dallas-based real estate investment company, where he handled all leasing activities for the firm’s national asset portfolio and gained investment and development experience. Rob also honed his brokerage experience from handling deals from inception to disposition at United Commercial Realty.

Rob graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Managerial Economics. As an active member in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Rob is passionate about the social, civic and economic impacts of real estate. He also supports organizations such as the Dallas Jewish Community Center and carries on his family’s tradition of supporting Susan G. Komen.

The beach and mountains of Colorado are two of the Solls family’s most frequented vacation spots. When they’re not traveling, Rob enjoys relaxing at home with his wife and two young children. The Dallas native also enjoys exploring new golf courses around the Metroplex.

Whether he’s prospecting industrial or office build-to-suit developments for clients, such as the 1 million-square-foot industrial facility he recently completed in Mississippi, or resolving difficult development or real estate issues for his clients, Gary Horn undoubtedly plays an essential role in the continued success of Mohr Capital. His passion to work with diverse companies and provide top-notch real estate expertise is what he enjoys most about his position at Mohr Capital. “You are never wrong to do the right thing” are words that Gary lives by, both personally and professionally.

As Chief Development Officer, Gary has overseen Mohr Capital’s build-to-suit and speculative development platforms since 2008. Having been in the real estate business for over 30 years, he is widely recognized for his knowledge of real estate development and knack for numbers. Regardless of size, every deal matters to Gary. He considers each deal he closes to be a part of his growing professional achievement.

For many years, Gary served as the Director of Real Estate for Temple-Inland and Guaranty Bank, a Time Warner and Fortune 300 company at the time, where he managed a portfolio of over 10 million square feet. After beginning his career in the oil and gas business, Gary later joined his father-in-law’s real estate development company and credits him for honing his finance skills and exposing him to industry leaders early in his career.

Gary is Dallas born-and-raised and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is an advocate for causes outside of real estate, such as the American Lung Association, The Family Place, The Stewpot and other charitable organizations. A true Texas native, Gary loves the outdoors and enjoys fishing and hunting. He can also be found on the golf course after a long day’s work or spending time with his four adult children, who also reside in Dallas.

Rodrigo Godoi oversees the entire lifecycle of an investment and takes a hands-on approach from the concept phase of a project through its completion. In his role as managing director of investments, Rodrigo has actively built Mohr Capital’s investment portfolio by managing nationwide acquisitions and dispositions of office and industrial assets. While some days consist of prospecting and others are spent underwriting and analyzing, each day holds a new challenge. He takes pride in his ability to find deals that hold high market returns.

Detail-oriented, disciplined and driven are just a few of the qualities Rodrigo says one needs to succeed in the real estate business. From his time as a collegiate swimmer recruited by Louisiana State University from Santos, Brazil, to today, he has developed hard-working personality traits that have contributed to the $1 billion of closed transactions he has been directly involved with in his career.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Rodrigo served as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, one of the largest global professional services firms. He later obtained a master’s degree in Real Estate from Cornell University and then began his real estate career at Toll Brothers, where he was responsible for land acquisitions in Florida. Prior to joining Mohr Capital in 2015, he was a director at Hunter Business Holding Group and director of acquisitions at Encore Enterprises. Rodrigo is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association and is actively involved in the Cornell Real Estate Council’s Dallas chapter.

Rodrigo has lived in Dallas since 2007 with his wife and two children. He has a passion for music, complete with his own home studio, and studied classical piano for almost 10 years. When he’s not in the music studio, Rodrigo enjoys coaching his children’s soccer teams. He also loves to travel and takes every opportunity to visit a new part of the world.
